Foxhouses with Bolton Fly Tyers

Best and only fish of the day for me, although I lost quite a few, honest!

A spooned fish revealed that the were feeding on Daphnia.

A nice sunset to end the day.

The Damsel that did the damage  - lead underbody with stripped Peacock herl rib, Marabou tail and light green hackle.

A great day at Pats as usual. The weather held out although the temperature was pretty low but the sun shone for most of the day. The fish on the feed but they were only really taking Daphnia(see above),although you had to find them and they were usually shoaled up in the shallows around the lake. Took a nice Rainbow and lost several more on a delicate Damsal with a Maraboo tail and light green hackle.
